The holiday season isn’t complete without a horse-drawn sleigh ride at Shelburne Farms!
Starting on Saturday, December 20, you can enjoy a 20-minute horse-drawn sleigh ride from the Welcome Center. Seats are first-come, first-served. And of course, all the sleigh rides are weather permitting. You can learn more on their website.
Starting on December 5, Shelburne Museum has three days of incredible events that are sure to please everyone on your list. From an Ornament Making Party, to the joyous sounds of local musicians, and a showing of the holiday classic A Christmas Story. Give your taste buds a culinary ride with Shelburne Museum’s TASTE! The Art of Food on December 11.
Bring your appetites for a gastronomic gala of Vermont’s most excellent cuisine. This two-hour tasting will feature an array of chefs, restaurateurs, brewers, bakers, and hash slingers who will be serving up their finest bites for a chance to be crowned “Best TASTE!” by event attendees.
Participants include Pascolo Ristorante, Fiddlehead Brewing Company, The Skinny Pancake, Juniper Bar & Restaurant, Queen City Brewery, LLC, Prohibition Pig, Caledonia Spirits, A Single Pebble, Shelburne Vineyard, Waterfront Deli & Catering, Citizen Cider, my little cupcake and The Essex, Vermont’s Culinary Resort and Spa!
