2016 was a notable year of growth at the Vermont Artisan Village, where buildings were completed and occupied by top-notch culinary and beverage artisans.
Building 1 has become the new Fiddlehead brew house, making loyal beer fans very happy. Delicious goods are rolling out of Building 2, where Vermont Tortilla Company and Douglas Sweets create their unique products.
Building 3 is in progress and ready for electricians, plumbers and builders to complete the work. Once finished, Building 3 will be home to a fabulous local distillery! We are also excited that Building 4 is ordered and permitted, and will start groundbreaking in the spring. That building will be ready for the next tenants to move in by fall 2017.
As we continue to work with potential tenants, we are always on the look out for others to join our local artisan project. The Vermont Artisan Village community is eager to welcome bread bakers, cheese makers, cider makers and more at our site.
We send sincere thanks to our tenants, architects, builders, friends and neighbors for supporting our expanding community. The coming year will bring more exciting additions, so stay tuned!
