The scenic natural beauty adds to why visitors flock to our town as a top Vermont vacation destination across all seasons. The vibrancy of our locale was further endorsed by the Travel Channel, who recently selected the Vermont Artisan Village as a “must-see” destination in the Burlington, Vermont area.

A study provided by the CCRPC on the State of Chittenden County reported some notable trends (ECOS Annual Report 2016). Namely, there has been an upward trend in the total county population and the number of businesses. We are particularly happy to also see the investment in walking and biking infrastructure rising steadily.
Significant new plans to expand walk-ability and biking access throughout Shelburne are in the works! These improvements would provide accessible, safe, and sustainable mobility choices for locals, visitors and businesses.
The proposed plans include new sidewalks, shared-use paths, and a safe cross-walk and island connecting the Shelburne Winery and our site. A shared use path along Route 7 would interconnect the Shelburne Village, Shelburne Museum and lead directly to the Vermont Artisan Village (images courtesy of CCRPC).
We are very excited at the prospect of greatly improved access to our fabulous onsite businesses and neighbors in Shelburne. It sums up our passion for connecting local and sustainable products and services to the community. There are so many reasons to locate your business at the Vermont Artisan Village in Shelburne.
