This month we are proud to highlight Evan Webster Ink, a screen-printing custom apparel business committed to quality and located at the Vermont Artisan Village. A core value at Evan Wester Ink (EWI) is “If it isn’t great, why make it?” This was evident in our meeting with Evan, who took time from his busy schedule to talk with us about his growing business and life at “The Village.”
We were truly impressed with how the folks at EWI value punctuality, turning work around on time without compromising quality. Their commitment is shown in their latest investment of new equipment for the shop. “This will allow us to work on larger projects more efficiently, also providing an expanded range of colors and faster turnaround,” explains Evan. Their work is currently “busier than usual” for this time of the year, and they are also in the process of hiring additional local talent to be prepared for the upcoming busy summer season.
Evan explains why the Vermont Artisan Village is “the perfect location for our business.” He is able to bike to work from home, while being close enough to Burlington’s commercial center. He also enjoys being part of a community of businesses that can collaborate easily in a centrally located hub.
EWI is excited to host an Open House on Friday, April 7 from 4:30 to 6:30pm at 120 Graham Way. All are welcome to enjoy refreshments, music, and T-shirt raffles. Meet EWI’s staff to get a full appreciation for their craft, and see the new automatic printing press in action at 5:15pm.
Get to know your local screen printer and have some fun on Friday, April 7. While visiting, be sure to check out everything that the Vermont Artisan Village has to offer.
